from Faith in Minnesota which is the political wing of ISAIAH for 2026
in preparation for precinct caucuses and political conventions in Minnesota.

We need to tax the rich & fight for a democracy so our families can
afford their lives and our communities have what they need and
everyone can live with dignity.

Affordability
Lower costs for families and provide universal and lifelong access to care
 1. Universal and lifelong access to care
  o Affordable childcare for families and a living wage and benefits
    for childcare workers
  o Guarantee affordable healthcare for all by expanding public
    healthcare programs and restricting profiteering in healthcare
  o Elder care that is accessible, affordable and dignified
 2. Safe and affordable places to live
  o Cap lot rent increases for manufactured home residents
  o Build more affordable housing across Minnesota
  o Lower energy & insurance costs and ensure every family can heat,
    cool, and repair their home
  o Help families buy homes
 3. Protect food assistance & supports for families to afford the basics

Dignity
Build a multiracial democracy that honors every person's dignity
 1. Protect civil rights & free speech of every person in Minnesota
 2. Divest from corporations fueling genocide and human rights abuses
    abroad
 3. Rein in ICE, domestic military deployment and the militarization
    of law enforcement

Community
Prioritize the quality of life of people and well-being of our
communities over corporate profits
 1. Fully fund high-quality public education and public youth programs
 2. Prioritize our communities over corporate profits
  o Create vibrant community places- parks, community centers, etc.
  o Make polluting corporations pay for the climate-driven disasters
    hurting our communities
  o Support local economies and small businesses instead of corporate
    monopolies
