We have a lot of work to do. Those of us who believe in life,
not death, hope, not fear, and people, not money must "Change
America's Priorities". It is an enormous task and the stakes are
big, but there are few options.
Activities at the park will kick-off Memorial weekend with a
community dance May 24th with "Home on the Range". a local
community dance group. The 9th annual Northstar Arts Camp will take
place June 17-20 with a performance of a locally-grown arts camp play that
At this years 74th annual Midsummer Festival, June 21-22,
the theme is "Building the Future: Celebrating the Wellstone Legasy".
A forum Saturday afternoon will be a grassroots tribute to the lives
of Paul and Sheila Wellstone, and a discussion of a new vision for
America. As usual, the Midsummer will include a wonderful mix of
community, celebration, political vision and family fun.
