These pages ** provide access to archived copies of images from the I-35W bridge under construction as of June 2008 taken once a minute from the webcam mounted on the adjacent 10th Avenue bridge. It usually looks somewhat west, somewhat upstream. USE LINKS ON LEFT. Pictures are numbered in chronological order each minute starting at an arbitrary time, probably #1 is around 7am on a given day. Each picture has a date and 24 hour format time stamp in the upper left corner. Note that some numbers (highest) are probably not used some days and a few images are defective and don't display. These pages are not edited to remove such defective links. If you find a link that works and a higher one that does not, use a binary search (try link half way in between) to find highest working link. There are two special links. The one to this page and one to Day Notes. The Day Notes may describe which numbered images are available for that day, numbers of defective images, numbers of particularly interesting images etc. Note that the camera is reoriented from time to time to show different areas. Pictures from midafternoon on sometimes appear quite dark, maybe because the automatic shutter shuts down due to it looking somewhat into the sun. Links that should be here: Official bridge page and its webcam page. Fred's bridge collapse blog entry. ... This experimental page was produced by Fred H Olson of Minneapolis. Fred's Link Page It was developed with Firefox; if you still use Internet Explorer, send me a note about how well it works. I'd be interested in feedback about your experience with these pages. email: fholson at cohousing.org Idea: Make day note a wiki page so viewers could collaborate to document pictures. ** Note: Only one day of pictures were captured and made available in this format.
